Concours d’Elegance
It works like this. If you want to enter your amazing bike into this ‘beauty parade’, you put it into a special area, we give you a board on which to write a few words about your beloved wheels. Each cycle has a number, and all visitors have the opportunity to vote for their favourites under certain headings. At one point in the day, all entrants ride their cycle in a grand parade, with commentary about each bike. Commentator will be Jim McGurn. Show Director, Mick Allan, is entering his Schwinn Black Phantom (Please don’t vote for it: he’s not allowed to win).
