Seven Try-Out Areas
We’ve organised seven different riding arenas with more than 400 cycles in total. There’s a try-out area called the 'Family Track' featuring tandems, child trailers, 'Tag-a-longs' and childrens bikes and a selection of assorted special needs cycles. Next to that is the ‘Urban Track’ for grown-ups, featuring road bikes, hybrids, mountain-bikes, recumbents, folding bikes, load-carriers etc. At the other end of the spectrum is the 'Toddler Track' for under 5s; we’re bringing all our teeny tandems, penny-farthings, rickshaws, tricycles, etc.
We intend these tracks to be quite chilled-out.
However, those looking for a bit of excitement and wanting to burn off some energy will not be disappointed!Visitors of all ages will enjoy the adult and children’s trikes on the exciting 'KMX Track' . The 'Fun Track' will amaze you, with some very improbable cycles – such as our bouncy eccentric wheeled bikes. Prepare to be amazed! Quest 88 are setting up their very own 'Inflatable Track' featuring their range of pedal powered quad cycles by Berg.
Last but not least the 'Arena' area, which is located in front of the grandstand. Between stunt-shows, parades, Bumper Bikes and other 'happenings', this area will host mega-bike rides. This is your chance to ride our famous seven seater Conference Bike (or 'Circle-Cycle'), our four- and two-seater ZEMs, our pedal-powered Sofa-Cycle, or take a ride on the back of one of our Maximus Pedicabs.
