The Get Cycling Show is at Nottingham Racecourse, just two miles east of the City Centre, within the 280 acres of Colwick Park.

Getting there by bike

We understand that a new cyclepath from the city centre to Nottingham Racecourse may well be built before the Show takes place. Fingers crossed,and watch this space! Click the bold text to view Nottingham City Cycle Maps.

If you are in Nottingham with your bike, and looking for a great ride, try the Bike Track, a ten-mile circuit of the City, almost entirely off-road, and taking in quite a few canal-side paths.

Getting there by Public Transport

Nottingham is a major station, served by Midland Mainline Trains. Go to www.thetrainline.com for timetables.

On the days of the Get Cycling Show the bus service taking you to the Show is the 44 going out (to Colwick), and the 45 back (to Queen Street. It’s a half hourly service on that Bank Holiday weekend. The bus departs from Queen Street, Nottingham, which is a 10 to 15 minute walk heading North (into town) from the railway station.

The Park and Ride service to Nottingham Racecourse will not be running.

Getting there by Car

Via the M1, A1, A52, and A46. There is is some parking at the Racecourse, and there is likely to be parking on the adjacent Park and Ride site. It’s under discussion.
