If you are in Nottingham with your bike, and looking for a great ride, try the Bike Track, a ten-mile circuit of the City, almost entirely off-road, and taking in quite a few canal-side paths.
There's a Big Track booklet is full of interesting information. On the days of the Get Cycling Show the bus service taking you to the Show is the 44 going out (to Colwick), and the 45 back (to Queen Street. It’s a half hourly service on that Bank Holiday weekend. The bus departs from Queen Street, Nottingham, which is a 10 to 15 minute walk heading North (into town) from the railway station.
The Park and Ride service to Nottingham Racecourse will not be running.
